COVID-19 Relief: Village-to-Village Food Distribution

During the peak of the pandemic, our team went door-to-door across remote villages to distribute essential food kits. This initiative ensured that no family slept hungry in the crisis, even in the most underserved areas.

Sanitary Vending Machines for Menstrual Dignity

We installed sanitary pad vending machines in schools and community centers to ensure easy, stigma-free access to menstrual hygiene products. This initiative empowers adolescent girls to manage their periods with confidence and dignity.

Soil Testing Camps for Sustainable Farming

We organized on-site soil testing camps in rural areas to educate farmers about the health of their land. Experts demonstrated soil testing techniques using scientific equipment, while local farmers actively participated to understand crop suitability and improve productivity.

A Sustained Commitment to Environmental Conservation

For the past 15 years, Sahara Jan Kalyan Samiti, Sagar (M.P.) has been actively involved in tree plantation and long-term maintenance to promote a greener and healthier environment. We believe that protecting the environment is not just a campaign—it’s a responsibility we owe to future generations. Each year, the Samiti plants hundreds of trees, including fruit-bearing, shade-giving, and native species. But our work doesn’t stop at plantation — we are equally committed to the ongoing care, watering, protection, and survival of these plants.

Currently, our efforts are focused across various locations in Sagar district, including educational institutions, government campuses, rural areas, and public spaces. By involving local communities, we aim to raise environmental awareness and a sense of collective responsibility. Our mission is to inspire every individual to reconnect with nature and play an active role in conserving it.

“One tree, a thousand breaths – let’s grow green together!”

Addressing Child Malnutrition in Urban Slums

Millions of children under 5 live in unsafe, unhygienic environments without access to basic nutrition. Our team works closely in urban slums to identify malnourished children and provide nutritional support, health monitoring, and family counseling for their growth and survival.

Empowering Rural Women Through Community Kitchens & Skill Training

From preparing nutritious mid-day meals for school children to mastering tailoring skills for self-employment — we are building confident, self-reliant women at the grassroots level. These programs not only enhance household incomes but also restore dignity, purpose, and leadership in their everyday lives.
